Welcome to My Journey

I arrived in Budapest Tuesday night. Finally! I thought the anticipation would kill me last week after waiting since February to make this trip. Back then, it seemed like a distant dream. Actually, it seemed pretty distant up until a month ago, when I got my plane ticket, got my UK visa, moved out of my apartment and seriously started trying to line up some work.

And now I’m here. Yesterday, I slept in really late because I was jetlagged, then went for a run down to City Park and bought a few things at the grocery store. I also finished up an article for Hitched (I’ll post it when it’s live), and made some dinner. Oh, and I spent the rest of the evening setting up this blog.

So welcome! Thanks for visiting. I should be posting more soon.

P.S. The photo is one I took of Fisherman’s Bastion up on Budapest’s Castle Hill this summer. I thought it looked more fall-like than the rest of my summer pics.

Hello France to go! You are in the “Paris of Central Europe”, so I guess the name is fitting!

Evan, I can’t believe you already commented on my blog! You’re so stealth! Well, maybe not stealth, since you helped me set this up, but something at least somewhat sneaky.
